The first part of the EA FC 25 season is almost ending. Levi de Weerd and Emre Yilmaz compete for $100.000 in the FC Pro Open Finals this weekend, the last tournament of the 'Open Phase'. During the next 'League Phase' — taking place from February until April — all eyes will be on the national competitions. Initially, all Team Gullit players competed in the eDivisie in The Netherlands. But this year, it's a different story.
You can see our stars shine in 5 of the biggest major EA FC competitions: the ePremier League, LALIGA FC Pro, eLiga Portugal, eDivisie and ePro League.
Manuel Bachoore x Liverpool
The biggest club we'll be representing this year? Liverpool, for sure. After the Dutch takeover of the manager spot and the recent success of Arne Slot, Team Gullit will send out Manuel to Liverpool to do the same on the digital pitch. Manuel had to make it out of the club qualification but did so by beating none other than Diogo Jota — who was probably not able to compete — in the final. You'll never walk alone, Manu!
ePremier League Finals: March 22 & 23
Emre Yilmaz x Real Sociedad
Emre will fly out to Spain this year to compete in the LALIGA FC Pro, one of the biggest EA FC competitions and one we have never entered before with Team Gullit. The Dutchman will chase the first national league title of his career after becoming second in the eDivisie last season with PSV Eindhoven. (Not so) Fun fact: Emre is the only player to have won the eChampions League without winning a national competition.
LALIGA FC Pro Finals: April 25
Levi de Weerd x AFC Ajax
Is this a surprise? I guess not. Don't fix it if it's not broken. Levi joined AFC Ajax back in 2022 after winning the eDivisie with Manuel Bachoore for Vitesse. The team fell short of winning the eDivisie on FIFA 23 but fought back on EA FC 24 and were crowned Dutch Champions. With eDivisie's recent move back to 1v1, Levi will look to win the third national championship of his career on his own.
eDivisie Finals: April 19
Gabriel 'Young' Freitas x Boavista CF
There has always been a strong connection between Portugal and Brazil; we're joining in on that. Young will fly all the way from Brazil for the group stages, playoffs, and hopefully, the final. Our Brazilian talent will be easily recognizable in the famous black-and-white checkered jersey, so make sure to support him while they're live. Vamos Os Axadrezados!
eLiga Portugal Finals: April 12
Chris de Boer x AZ Alkmaar
Chris is on fire. He's won the first big tournament of his career, and he is excited to hunt for the second one this season. The young talent made it to the eDivisie Finals already last season, but fell short of the tickets for the eChampions League and eWorld Cup. Things have changed this year. The confidence is oozing.
eDivisie Finals: April 19
Morris van de Pol x Beerschot
This year is all about development for Morris, our youngest talent. He will get as much experience as possible by playing the ePro League in Belgium this season. With two of the Team Gullit talents already playing in the Dutch eDivisie, the ePro League was the ideal place to compete in a national competition, while being able to combine it with the requirements of attending high school. Can he create an upset here?
ePro League Finals: February 23
