Most people play EA FC 25 recreationally. However, you may want to become a better gamer or even a professional EA FC 25 player. How do you go about it?
Many young people think esports has only been around for the last ten to fifteen years. While that's true, since livestreaming has significantly boosted esports, the first major competitive gaming event was held back in 1972 at Stanford University. Students competed against each other in the game Spacewar and even had the chance to win prizes.
While the history of esports is fascinating, we want to focus on the present and future of gaming. How do you become a better EA FC 25 gamer? And how can you take the next step to become a professional EA FC 25 player? Here are some tips to help you get started.

Learn from the best in EA FC 25
At some point, after a lot of practice, it becomes crucial to learn from others. And not just from 'some' others, no we recommend you watch the best EA FC 25 athletes. At Team Gullit, we upload weekly content, curated by our professional players and coaches. That means you always stay up-to-date on the latest EA FC 25 developments and meta shifts.
Some accounts we recommend following are our own player Levi de Weerd on Twitch, as well as Team Gullit on YouTube.
Practice against players better than you in EA FC 25
Our first tip might be obvious, like the old saying: practice makes perfect. The only way to improve at a game is to master it completely. Both knowledge and skill play a role here. Knowing how to counter your opponent with tactics and position shifts would be good for you. But you might still lose if you cannot execute said tactics flawlessly. That's why you need both.
One of the best ways to improve is to play against people who are better than you. This gives you a challenge plus it will increase your skill level at the same time. This also means you can learn, as we recommended watching the pro's in our first point.
At Team Gullit, we both improve our professional athletes daily, and we also like to help you. Thats why we have developed several products that aim to do that, like our EA FC 25 Course, our EA FC 25 Coaching Session(s), and our EA FC 25 Video Analysis (where we go over your gameplay).
Compete in EA FC 25 tournaments
To start your competitive journey in EA FC 25, the first step is registering for the FC Pro Open on the official EA Sports Pro website. This is where aspiring professional players take their first step into the esports scene. Once registered, the focus shifts to performance in Ultimate Team Rivals on PlayStation 5. Reaching at least Division 3 is essential, as it grants access to the FC Pro game mode and the opportunity to compete in the FC Pro Open Ladder. The ladder is only available for a limited period, such as October 1-7, 2024, and during this window, every match counts. Players need to compete in at least 20 games to be eligible for qualification to the next stage, with rankings determined by overall performance.
Build your brand
In the world of esports, your personal brand is just as important as your skills in the game. Building a strong identity can be the difference between being an unknown player and becoming a professional athlete with sponsorships, fans, and opportunities.
Creating your brand starts with establishing a presence on social media platforms. Start channels on platforms like Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and TikTok. Share your journey, your gameplay, and your achievements. Let people see who you are, both as a competitor and as a person. Highlight your best moments, analyze your matches, and provide insights that engage your audience.
Engagement with the community is key. Interact with fans, fellow players, and industry professionals. Respond to comments, join discussions, and be active in relevant esports communities. This helps build credibility and strengthens your presence in the gaming world.
Don't just sit still, move!
The stereotype of a gamer is still someone sitting for hours in a dark room in front of a screen. But in reality, things have changed. Most professional esports teams now have their own training facilities and personal coaches to keep their players in top physical shape. That doesn't mean you must follow an intense fitness regimen as a beginner, but movement is important.
Even if you're not an athlete, simply standing up regularly and going for a walk can help. You can take it further by playing a sport or hitting the gym. Staying active is crucial for physical and mental health, and intense mental focus is essential for esports. Your gaming performance doesn't rely on muscle strength or sports skills; good concentration is key to winning.
Take Breaks
This might sound surprising after our first point, but let us explain. Yes, practising is arguably the most critical factor, but when do you absorb all that new information? When you rest! Research shows that sleep and breaks are essential for retaining what you've learned. So get enough rest; it's a key part of esports training.
Additionally, sometimes it's good to take a step back. If you're struggling with a game one day, take a break and come back later. Just like in sports, gamers can have off days, too. Recognizing this and avoiding frustration is essential. In the end, improving as a gamer also requires patience.
Use the right gear
The best players will use the best tools, or in our case, gear! Most of our players use the best EA FC 25 monitor around, as well as the best equipment for social media and streaming on Twitch and YouTube. Since EA FC 25 is played with a controller, additionally players can look at SCUF controllers for extra versatility. We, however, recommend staying with the basics and upgrading your monitor, chair, and computer equipment (for building your brand).
